I will start by saying, that this week was probably one of the hardest weeks of my internship. It was just really difficult. There was a lot of stuff that I should be understanding, that I wasn't. Stuff like that always stresses me out. My friends tell me I think about stuff too much. I seriously can't help that I think a lot though. However, like I'm learning every week, you have to have thick skin in this business. I have to try not to let everything rape my brain, to the point that I can't get over it. Somebody actually told me at the internship that I was too nonchalant, which I was surprised to hear, but I took it in, and I'm trying to be more conscious of behaviors that could lead someone to think that I don't care. So I'm working on it.

I'm really proud of you that you took the comment that the person made about you and used it constructively. That shows growth and that you're maturing...the old KT would have probably let them have it! lol
ReplyDeleteOne reason you are not understanding is because the new curriculum delays your taking MC409, which you will take in Fall 2010. You seem to be very resilient, so hang in there!
